The short version

How DocMint is used

You scan paper, import images or supported PDFs, edit pages, run on-device OCR, and export or share a finished PDF. No DocMint login is required for normal iOS scanning work.

DocMint does not automatically upload scans to a DocMint cloud archive. You decide when to export, share, or save a file outside the app.

Permissions

Permissions are requested when the related feature is selected and can be changed in iOS Settings.

What stays on the device

Projects, pages, OCR text and generated PDFs stay in the app on your device. Removing the app removes its local app data from that device.

Purchases

Apple processes subscriptions and payments through the App Store. DocMint reads the entitlement needed to unlock Pro. It does not receive your payment-card details.

No advertising or tracking

DocMint does not sell personal data and does not include an advertising SDK or cross-app tracking in the iOS app.

Desktop licenses, ChatGPT tools and DocMint website analytics are covered on the full policy at docmintscan.com/privacy.
