Privacy policy

Private by design.

Bumblly is a weekly menu, pantry and shopping-list app. It processes only what is needed to plan meals and groceries. This English studio page matches other app privacy URLs. The existing Dutch grocery policy stays at /privacy.html and is not replaced.

The short version

What the app processes

Depending on how you use the app, Bumblly may process name, email, household members, diet rules, allergies and dislikes, budget, planning, pantry items, pantry photo context, shopping suggestions and supermarket-link status.

Why

These details are used to build week menus, check pantry stock, prepare shopping lists and optionally prepare a supermarket basket. Bumblly does not place the final order or take payment.

AI and supermarket links

AI processing runs through the Bumblly backend with Bumblly's own configuration. You do not have to enter your own AI key. If an external AI provider is used, only the grocery-planning context needed for that request is sent, such as preferences, pantry, budget and planning.

Supermarket tokens are used only for allowed basket preparation, not for payment or order placement.

Purchases

Apple processes subscriptions and payments through the App Store. Bumblly does not receive your payment-card details.

Retention and deletion

In the app, Profile > Privacy and account lets you export Bumblly data, clear server data and clear local test data. Deletion can also be requested at privacy@bumblly.com. See account deletion.

The Dutch grocery policy at /privacy.html remains the original grocery-app page.
